Kaedah ini sangat pantas kerana serta merta maklumat bencana itu diperolehi. Itulah Informer On Site iaitu satu rekacipta yang berbentuk aplikasi telefon pintar bertujuan memberi pemberitahuan awal dan pelaporan mengenai bencana seperti banjir, jerebu dan tanah runtuh kepada orang awam.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Ketua Penyelidik projek ini Prof Datin Dr Sapora Sipon, penglibatan komuniti dan orang ramai diperlukan dalam melaporkan sebarang kejadian yang berbentuk bencana dalam bentuk sama ada gambar atau video serta lokasi kejadian. Kaedah ini menyebabkan pelaporan bencana berlaku secara dua hala, pantas dan tepat. Ianya juga mudah dicapai dan menyediakan maklumat yang bermanfaat dalam konteks bencana.<\/p>\n<p>Ahli kumpulan lain adalah Dr Anvar Narzullaev,Dr Zulkifly Mohd Zaki,Dr Khatijah Othman \u00a0dan Dr Azuan\u00a0 Ahmad.<\/p>\n<p>Jelas Dr. Sapora lagi, inovasi Informer On Site adalah hasil dari kajian Long Research Grant Scheme (LRGS) yang bertajuk \u00a0\u201cFlood Management Impact Reduction and Relief: Flood Relief Management, A Psychosocial Dynamic Model for Well Being.\u201d (USIM\/LRGS(UUM)\/FKP\/ULUM\/34\/50112). Inovasi ini dinaiktaraf apabila mendapat geran inovasi dari USIM yang bertajuk \u201cInformer on Site\u201d Disaster Reporting System and Mobile Application (PPP\/GPI\/FKP\/051014\/60218)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Beberapa artikel jurnal telah dihasilkan berkaitan produk Informer On Site.
