A total of RM 1.9 million is allocated by Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) for TM to provide  iWISH  to all residential colleges outside USIM campus.  This include Desa Jati, Acacia Avenue, Nilam Court and Sutera Indah  Residential Colleges in Nilai and Pandan Indah Residential College Kuala Lumpur.

“Alhamdulillah,  TM has  offered a  comprehensive solution and currently  our students can enjoy quality WiFi access  at the residential colleges. I understand that this provision includes aspects of cyber security which is fully monitored by the TM Network Operation Centre (NOC) which operates around the clock (24 hours x 7 days).

“It is hoped that this facility can be optimised by the students to facilitate the teaching and learning activities in particular. To curb vandalism, the cooperation of students in the residential colleges  are needed to constantly monitor these facilities,” said the Vice-Chancellor.

USIM and TM has also signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the iWISH project for three years beginning 2016. USIM was represented by the Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Prof. Dato’ Dr. Hasan Basri Awang Mat Dahan while TM was represented by Mr Hamdan Ismail, Vice President of Government Sales Divison TM and Ir Ramlan Omar, General Manager of TM Negeri Sembilan.
