A book written by USIM Board of Chairman, YBhg Tan Sri Dato Dzulkifli Abdul Razak won an award at the 2016 National Book Awards ceremony for the Best Counseling Book Category.
The book titled Nurturing a Balanced Person: The Leadership discusses the interesting questions that arise on the subject of challenges of producing a balanced leader.
“The award proves that books published by USIM possess quality and has become a reference to the public.” says Hariza Mohd Yusof, the director of USIM Publisher, representing Tan Sri Dato Dzulkifli at the award ceremony.
“The book that was published in cooperation with the Institut Terjemahan Buku Negara (ITBM) is very interesting to read to learn more about the concept of a balanced individual and the challenges in leadership,” he added.
The award was presented by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry, YB Dato ‘Sri Haji Tajuddin Abdul Rahman.
It was held on December 14 at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).
The 2016 National Book Awards ceremony was organized by the National Book Development Foundation (YPBN) in conjunction with the National Book Expo.
