Zaini bin Ujang at the Main Lecture Hall, Faculty of Quran and Sunnah Studies (FPQS), Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM). The lecture is aimed at channelling and expanding the horizons of youth responsibility that they have a moral role and responsibility in safeguarding the environmental sustainability. Youths do not just have a passive role as a world administrator-partner to ensure a good life for mankind, but also have an active role in prospering and ensuring the world’s sustainability is maintained for future generations.

Puan Azzah Mokmin, the acting USIM Head Librarian who represented the Vice-Chancellor in her speech said, such a programme is a USIM initiative to make USIM a university for the community. The programme aims to strengthen the relationship between the youth community and the USIM community as well as strengthening the Naqli and Aqli integration agenda with the general public, in particular, the Malaysian Youth Council as the official youth movement in Malaysia.

Knowledge is the greatest tool to drive human actions. Hence, cultivating knowledge lectures to youths is hoped to enhance their intellectualism as well as enabling the youths to understand the responsibility of preserving the environmental sustainability in facing the challenges of the ever-challenging Industry 4.0 Revolution.
