NILAI, 22 Mac 2023 – Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) expanded its strategic network with Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to focus on the empowerment of Islamic studies programs.
This ceremony took place at the UMS Islamic Centre, USIM, represented by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Sharifudin Md Shaarani and Registrar Dato’ Mohammad Haizuan Rozali, while UMS, represented by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dato’ Dr. Kasim Hj. Mansor and Registrar, Encik Luqman Ridha Anwar.
Meanwhile, Professor Dato’ Dr. Kasim Hj Mansor said UMS hopes that this cooperation will continue to develop in various aspects, especially for the student exchange program in the Islamic studies field for one semester. He also welcomed the collaboration, which was impactful and beneficial for both universities.
Also present at the MoU ceremony was Professor Dr. Mohd Dahlan Hj. A. Malek, Dean of the Islamic Studies Faculty of UMS, and the USIM delegation.
